Alnoor was born in Sudan in 1958. Following a series of political turmoil that negatively affected his family, and ultimately threatened him, he moved out at the age of 20 and worked in the oil industry in the Arabian Peninsula for an extended period of time until he finally migrated to the USA in 1999, where he settled with his wife and four children.
