About Me
Alnoor was born in Sudan in 1958. Following a series of political turmoil that negatively affected his family, and ultimately threatened him, he moved out at the age of 20 and worked in the oil industry in the Arabian Peninsula for an extended period of time until he finally migrated to the USA in 1999, where he settled with his wife and four children.
Born into a family involved in politics, public service, and education, he developed a passion for writing since early childhood, which included poetry, reflections, and short stories. His four-continent voyage for work, education, tourism, and permanent immigration provided him with a vast array of multi-cultural experiences and exposures that translated into a global perspective of the world.
Education
His education includes a BA and MBA, as well as professional qualifications from the UK and linguist certifications from the USA. His recent capacities included as language teaching program manager, interpreter, and contract translator for prominent US entities.
His interests include literature, world peace, and interfaith dialogue
